Heureka all my jumping problems solved. Well for those ships wich use the new ftl layout. I dont know squat about ths mod how it works so could someone please help :'( :'( :'(, please make a target seek wich show the distance to target in the same way as the Battlestars ftl jump to distance shows.

I'm not sure what the difference is because I'm pretty sure I used the code for the battlestar for the seek distance. I may have something to do with how the pop-up displays numbers vs Orbiter core.

What you are saying is you need a AU tool.  The BS configuration is based on strict AU standards but the newer ships have a more mathematical toolage.  They are both equal and correct but I also prefer the AU to the later.  But it's easy to google and get yourself a comparison of, this equals this.  And, no sorry no one will do it for you.  It's all part of O, the distance is right there, you just have to figure it out.  :-*   I mean literately it's right there.  Besides it will take you right there why the obsession of distance?

I could change it to AUs but is that really what would be wanted? Do you want to target a Firefly from a shuttle and have it say 0.00000000023 AUs distance?

I agree with the "obsession of distance". Distance may have been needed and handy when doing FTL Jumps because you didn't want to jump past the target but with the Warp drive which the Seek is most useful for it isn't.  I gues I could come up with a pop-up that doesn't point you towards any thing but gives distance in different measurements.  Some thing like showing meters, Kilometers, Kalicams etc........ Would that be useful? I guess I could incorporate it into the Seek but I was just trying to keep the seek small from a screen footprint perspective.

Kalicams ! HA ! I forgot about those.

How about an RTF Clock that measures Solons, Yarrens, Centonns, and makes change for a 50 Cubit Duckket chip ?  ^-^ ^-^ ^-^

In all seriousness it might be a great tool to have and to provide for the fleet.  Lot's of noobs.  RTF CIC popup which would be more elaborate and give an assortment of info and the "exchange" as mentioned above.  Or a simplified one with just the "exchange".  It would be usefull.  And now '10 has the g aspect.  You don't have to be a math wiz to fly O but you need one at times.  I'm not a math wiz.  With the BStars it is so easy to jump.  The destination is 22.6 AU.  So you set it and jump.  This method is much quicker to dial in for me.  I can't equate that 10 AU is 9.2325545585+004e/m.  Don't check my math I know it's wrong lol.   And no I don't want a math lesson, that's just beating my head against the wall.  So a conversion pop up would be cool.  Type in the distance in a selected format and get a exchange figure in another selected outcome format.  Now I have to get on the short bus and go to school.  ROFLMAO ;D

Sorta kinda like the G-Spin calculator I use. You're right Cap, it could be handy and useful. You wouldn't have change for a Duckket would ya ?  :D
