First Bryce 5.5 was released free and I obtained a copy to suppliment Anim8or, now Caligari is releasing TrueSpace 7.6 free to the public. I just installed TS76 and I'm trying it out now. I think this might help those that are on the fence about 3-D modeling to jump in feet first and start experimenting. I've never used Google's Sketchup or other packages like that, but I do look forward to the learing curve in TS. My kid wants to learn 3d modeling but hasn't picked up on the basic points of Anim8or yet. Maybe TS might help, once I get past the basics?
