I was able to find all the "pieces" of these ships and others during the first 3 weeks or so.
I figured it was something the senior staff had done as an incentive for those who spent the time exploring the site.

Ragtag Fleet "BattleStar".
Thank you sir..!!  To use a cliche "Overload Will Robinson, Overload".
I am just starting to explore and started with the RTF BattleStar empty.
I love the animated drive mechanisms and with the rotating sphere..!
Of course I had to try firing missles and and am overwhelmed with the whole sequence.
With that kind of animation it stirs the blood to go find some truly dispicable bad guys and right a few wrongs.

I then move over to the fully loaded scenario and found that just as it finished loading and I have a view
from the bridge I got to watch all my missles fire at once. I've tried it additionally with the same results.
I also am showing no ships loaded though as you can see they are there. 

EDIT:  At least until I move the BattleStar, lol

I changed the name of the ship, but didn't change it for the ships that were attached to it.  So when you started the scn they all said this isn't the so and so, we're out of here lol.  Must have been cool to watch the missiles launch all at once though.  Sorry about that, I'll have to fix the download now.

Okay yes it is fixed.  I minimized the scn after correcting it and then copied the file copy which of course is the old one because I didn't save it.  So I closed and saved it, then copied that and threw it in and it works.  The same thing I posted above.  So it should be working for you.  I'm curious as to how much of the miss name has been causing us auto launch.

The great thing about these ships is that they really do give you a retro feel. I've got them all in the LOK Fleetyard on my install.
Oh yeah, three catagories in one vessels folder called BSG.  BSG-TOS, RTF, and LOK-Fleet. These ships are so interchangable in scenarios that most users wouldn't do that but I did just to keep my testing straight.

My thought's exactly.  And that helped me out because I wanted something different for this one, support ship wise, and It just so happened that we had them :-*  But I also felt the need to provide a scn for those that wanted more of a BSG theme with the Vipers etc... That reminds me I need to fix that file.  Better go take care of that.  Will be on later tonight or early a.m.

If i remember correctly only oone of the currently available star hunter ships had retractable landing gear att all. The ship presented with the name qjtransu has a retracktable landing gear but then the carrier that looks almost the same just larger doesnt have any landing gear at all. Does anybody else find this particular thing weird or is it just me? Is it meant to be soo? I find no reason whys it should be so. If you think that the ship is to large to have landing gear see a picture of a Star Wars ship from episode II landed. Its called acclamator and is very big. Maybe the landing gear of that will inspire you. But personally i think that the same sort of landing gear that is used in the QJtransU would be perfect for the carrier.

This is a question/suggestion that is not commanding or supposed to be insulted. It is just someone who used the mods to build up his fleet and stumbled across this searching for an answer

The big one wasn't intended to go planet side so I didn't do the gear for it. I'm not even sure the height above ground parameter is even set. If it is then just make beleive it hovers like the rebel transports in TESB Star Wars movie.

well height above ground is about right, it(carrier) currently rests on the spire going down from the ship

ah empire strikes back. love that movie.  i think the transports had some kinda of gear or platform to land on. Gott brush upp my starwars memory.
